Bank of Hawaii opened its new Mililani branch on Monday to complete a transition from its old branch at Mililani Shopping Center that closed last Friday. Constructors Hawaii Inc. (CHI) was contracted by Bank of Hawaii to build out the interior of a new shell. The 4,162-square-foot branch at Town Center of Mililani — about a mile away from the old location was built with pandemic precautions in mind, including an enhanced air filtration system. There are additional measures such as temperature scanners, sneeze guards and signage to help customers physically distance. The branch is BOH's 11th with the "Branch of Tomorrow" theme, all opened since November 2016. Those branches feature improved energy efficiencies and upgraded technology, a flexible floor plan, a Teller Bar, a Bank Lanai with 24-hour ATMs, free Wi-Fi, and private meeting spaces.
