Project Superintendent

Job Description:

The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction project and is on site during the entire duration. Duties include scheduling, coordinating subcontractors and delivery of materials, maintaining the company’s labor work force, and ensuring safety and compliance of the site. The Project Superintendent will meet with clients, architects, and engineers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction.

  • Able to read plans and specifications.

  • Able to maintain RFI and submittal logs.

  • Able to maintain as builts.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Able to work with and manage a team of subcontractors, material suppliers, and consultants.

  • Able to provide daily inspection and progress reports.

  • Able to create overall critical path project schedules and detailed 3 week schedules.

  • Proactive with problem solving and safety issues.

  • Able to track labor costs on the project.

  • Able to conduct meetings.

  • Must be able to drive and carry a valid driver’s license.

  • Proficient with computers a plus.

  • Proficient with Bluebeam a plus.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Projects a plus.
